In recent months Woods & Durham Chartered has assisted our clients with non-traditional professional services. Below are a few of the services we provide clients. Non-Traditional Services We've Provided

• Assisted with the executive search for a large company, which needed a comptroller. We coordinated the media announcements, conducted initial screening of resumes, conducted preliminary interviews and presented our client with a “short list” of viable candidates. Ultimately, a candidate from the “short list” was employed.
• Completed the valuation of a Company to assist in the property settlement of a divorcing couple, including analysis of company tax returns, financial statements and other data, court testimony and expert witness commentary was provided as well.
• Observed the physical inventory for a chemical company at the request of an out-of-state CPA firm. Included was a description of the physical plant, details of products and methodology of the observation and appropriate documentation.
• Assisted with all of the financial needs of a terminally ill client who had no local family members for support. We assisted with the design of a trust document to direct her requests and we serve as co-trustees of that trust. We correspond regularly with the beneficiary and provide assistance whenever required.
• Provide all financial services for an incapacitated elderly widow, including all bill payment and assistance with routine financial matters. We correspond regularly with the client’s out-of-area children to keep them informed of their mother’s situation.
